How to log into your Participate account.

Use passwordless authentication to log into your account.

Passwordless Login

The Participate.community platform uses a login method that relies on "Passwordless Authentication." This is a method of account authentication that verifies your identify based on your email address only. 
  • The first time you sign up to create an account you will receive an invitation to join a community. The sign up form looks like this:


(for subsequent logins, be sure to click the "Log in" button and DO NOT attempt to create a duplicate account.) Use the same device and web browser session for the entire login or signup process.

  • A ‘Login to Participate’ email will be sent to you containing a one time 6 digit code. This code is one time use and will only be valid for 10 minutes.

  • Select and Copy the code provided in the email into the browser you were using

  • You will be taken into your account. That's it! No passwords needed! 

  • Remember this email may take up to 10 minutes to be received. If you are using school district or organizational email domain with external security policies it is possible that a firewall could block the login email. Let us know if you think you are running into this issue.

After you sign-up the first time, you can return to your personal dashboard whenever you're already logged in, using the link participate.community/me. If you need to log in again, return to participate.community/login and complete the flow to receive another log in email. Remember that each email and 6 digit code are one time use.

Login on a Mobile Device

The login process on mobile will be the same as above. Be sure this is the same browser you are using or take extra care to copy and paste the code from the email into your current browser session.
