STARTING A FREE TRIAL ON PARTICIPATE.COMMUNITY

When you create an account on the participate.community platform, a Free Trial will allow you to explore and engage with the various features that will be available to you and your organization. A Community will be automatically created for all of your members and you can create Spaces in which you can house specific content or members (such as cohorts).

Starting a Free Trial is easy and can be initiated through one of two ways:

  1. Go to https://participate.community/signup to complete the SIGN UP Form and create your account.

Once you’ve entered the one-time use code that is sent to your email, a GETTING STARTED guide will walk you through the steps of setting up your organization and automatically-created community.

The GETTING STARTED guide will walk you through the Community tab, located on the left side of your Organization Hub. Click Join and choose the manager role to begin managing your free trial community. Click each dot at the bottom of the guide to progress through managing your free trial community, then click the check mark to finish and close the guide.

If you are already associated with an organization, you can click the Choose Existing Organization button and click Go! to have a trial community automatically added to it. Click the Create New Organization button to start from scratch, assign a name and then click Go! to set up your organization. You will then be directed to the same GETTING STARTED guide for setting up your automatically-created community.

***NOTE: The automatically-created Free Trial Community will receive the name of the organization, whether it is created via the Sign Up Form or the Free Trial button. As an manager you can change the name in the Community Settings using the “Manage” button.***
